[clamav-win32] Clamd error or am I doing something stupid ?

What version of windows ? I have it running on 2000 Pro - I DO SERIOUSLY
wonder if M$ deliberately do windows updates that F up software they (or
their corporate partners) don't like.
With no other suggestions as to exactly WHY it might be crashing, I am about
to try out Brett's ClamAVService_Setup.exe . Will prob do it this weekend.
