I'm glad to see your issue resolved. The reason why freshclam is stating
your ClamAV installation is outdated because it just a very basic string
compare against the version numbers. If they don't match at all, then
freshclam will tell you that your installation is outdated. This will be
addressed in a future release of ClamAV.
