[clamav-users] still can't have ScriptedUpdates on a private mirror?

Sorry to top post, but the previous message seems good but not helping.

FYI, I have a private mirror and update it with the clamdownloader.pl
script

I have setup a DNS name "updates.XXX.TLD" and it is a valid vhost on a
webserver I have setup for this, right on the same one I use for updates
for my Linux Distributions. In fact the root is were all the clamav
files are. This is all behind my firewalls.

I have that vhost name setup in my freshclam.conf. I update my scanning
machines once a day... and use clamdownloader.pl 2 hours before and
again 15 minutes before my mass update.

It grabs all the diff files and the builds the daily just fine.

My scanning machines then go off without a hitch. Provided the 15 or so
minutes hasn't had another update, which then I get failure
notifications.

I also remove the mirrors.dat on my scanners daily just before the mass
update.

I've only had a couple of problems in the 2 years now I've been using
it. Mostly because of the DNS propagation issues that have happened.

If you want more specifics... e-mail me directly for a more private
method of chat/communications than e-mail.

Thanks
