Perhaps he is thinking of the case where all various clamscan write to the same

Does anybody have experience with (or even a ready script for) 'GNU parallel' ?

ls -d bin/* | parallel clamscan
looks easy but logging may be difficult in this case too.
Are there plans to put multithreading to clamscan too?
