To do that on a Linux box you don't need ClamAV at all:

laptop3:~$ >>> file UPS\ tracking\ number.exe 
UPS tracking number.exe: PE32 executable (GUI) Intel 80386, for MS Windows
laptop3:~$ >>> cp -p UPS\ tracking\ number.exe UPS\ tracking\ number.txt
laptop3:~$ >>> file UPS\ tracking\ number.txt 
UPS tracking number.txt: PE32 executable (GUI) Intel 80386, for MS Windows
