[clamav-users] Add virus databases and signatures from third-party vendors

I can’t imagine why the competition would ever be willing to share their signature databases with anybody.  Why would a user invest in a commercial A-V software package if they could get the same scanning protection for free?  In addition, those Companies use proprietary formats for their databases which are not going to be compatible with ClamAV.

If you want to look into compatible ClamAV Unofficial databases, look to SaneSecurity, SecuriteInfo, MalwarePatrol, or OITC.
