[clamav-users] clamav-0.99.2 Installation

Hi, 

I recently installed ClamWin (ver 0.99.1) from SourceForge at https://sourceforge.net/projects/clamwin/?source=directory
 
I see that there is a newer version but I do not know enough about the process of creating my own installation to do this with any confidence. E,g. I don't know what the term "wget" means, nor what you mean by "ensure you have a user clamav and group clamav", "run make", etc.

I need to know if there are any plans to update the package on Sourceforge, or indeed to post one anywhere else. I do understand that this is a community enterprise and that it is dependant entirely on experts willing to do the necessary maintenance and so I have no expectations of anything. An update to Sourceforge would be useful for many people, I'm sure.

Alternatively, is there a step-by-step mug's guide as to how to create and install the build. (It's on a machine running Server 2012 R2 Standard.)
