thanks for the suggestion-
*cat file | gzip | clamscan -**
*
worked. But probably because of the filesize I had to type
*cat
wdr3hoerspiel_2016-12-21_sherlockholmesunddasgeheimnisdesweissenbandesteil1_wdr3.mp3
| gzip | clamscan --max-filesize=1000M --max-scansize=1000M -*
It seems to be a practical workaround.
