[clamav-users] clamav-0.101.1 scan limit

Hi Kevin,

The 4GB scan limit is a technical limitation based on the buffer offset variable types used throughout libclamav. For some file types, the actual internal limit is even lower, likely around 2GB. We’ve been slowly working on making these types more consistent – but haven’t been able to do a comprehensive update to get around the 2GB/4GB size barrier.

Regards,
Micah

Hi,

Is there any way to increase the 4gb scan/stream limit?

Thanks,

Kevin
