Vladislav,

The should have worked if the new version of zlib has been installed to /usr/local.
On a side note, have you considered upgrading to a new version of Linux?  Centos5 has passed End-of-Life.

I found mistake and  I  recompile ClamAV with  ./configure option “--with-zlib=/usr/local”

but in recompile time I saw error

sources of new zlib placed in

the source code of the new library is here    /usr/src/zlib-1.2.11
