[clamav-users] Issue in connecting to clamav from dot net code

Hi Bijay,

ClamAV does not presently have the feature to create and start Windows Services.  There is a derivative project called clamav-win32 made by Gianluigi Tiesi which does provide this feature: https://github.com/clamwin/clamav-win32

We've relatively recently received Gianluigi's blessing to incorporate features from clamav-win32 into the main ClamAV project, to include support for starting clamd as a Windows Service.  This isn't one of the tasks we've prioritized for 0.103 dev though, so it's unlikely that you'll see it in ClamAV this year.

    Please tell us exactly exactly what you installed, from where exactly you obtained it, when you obtained it, exactly how you installed it, and exactly what you did to enable and start the clamd and freshclam services on the computer.  Please also tell us exactly what operating system you are using (including its version) and please give us some details about the computer - particularly how much RAM is has.
