I'm somewhat surprised Rust doesn't need an extra library. Since one of its goals is safety, esp. avoiding the all-too-common memory misuse problems (use after free, double free, bad pointers, etc.), I would have guessed that they would have created some library functions to encapsulate some of their safety paradigms.
