We (xs4all, clamav.xs4all.net) had to shut down our mirror at around 08:40 UTC, because the mirror is running on shared infrastructure, and the download deluge was causing problems for other customers.

... and from what I see in the freshclam.log on various installations, we are not the only ones having trouble.

I've now (10:53 UTC) re-enabled clamav.xs4all.net, but ONLY for recent (>=0.99) clamav/clamwin clients. Everything else still gets a "403 Denied". We'll very slowly widen the range of allowed clients over the next few days to spread the load.
